Tracy Dockray, Illustrator
Tracy Dockray migrated with her chihuahua and vintage motorcycles from West Texas to New York’s Lower East Side. She eventually expanded her canine companionship to a family and traded in her two wheels for a minivan. This mind blowing experience has given Tracy new insights into children’s books and their audience. She is ecstatic to have illustrated over 25 books including Beverly Cleary’s Ramona Series and The Mouse and the Motorcycle Series. Although Tracy studied Fine Art in school, she has come to the happy conclusion that drawing pictures for children’s books is the finest art she knows.
